This contract position, starting as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027, offers the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact while working a consistent weekday schedule. You will provide dedicated one-on-one care in an educational environment, supporting a student who requires specialized medical attention. Your advanced clinical expertise and caring presence will play a pivotal role in ensuring the students safety and maximizing their participation in the school day.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current RN licensure required Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong clinical knowledge of managing G-tubes, seizure disorders, VP shunts, and wheelchair assistance Ability to provide care for non-verbal individuals Excellent communication and documentation skills Compassionate, adaptable, and able to collaborate with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to a single student throughout the school day Administer and monitor G-tube feedings, medication, and other physician-ordered treatments Respond promptly and appropriately to seizures or medical emergencies Assist with mobility and personal care, ensuring comfort and safety Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and caregivers to support the students learning and well-being Maintain accurate records of interventions and daily care This opportunity is best suited to a dedicated RN passionate about making a difference in the life of a student with significant medical needs.
