Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Extern to support our inpatient rehabilitation team. Under RN supervision, you'll assist with vital signs, mobility, hygiene, and basic treatments while learning rehabilitation-focused care. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document in EMRs, reinforce patient education, and uphold infection control and safety standards. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to complex cases, preparing you for transition into a professional RN role within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
