Qualifications:
Valid RN license with eligibility to practice in Illinois Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a CVICU setting BLS and ACLS certification required Proficiency in caring for patients requiring advanced cardiac support Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage care for critically ill cardiac patients Administer medications, perform assessments, and interpret hemodynamic data Operate specialized equipment (ECMO, balloon pumps, etc.) Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
