Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a high school student in a 1:1 role as a Registered Nurse. This position is located in Dekalb, IL and requires dedication and compassion for working closely with students in an educational environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year (May 20th). Youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am to 3:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week. Your primary responsibility will be direct care for a female high school student. The student is ambulatory and does not require bus transportation. Key responsibilities include trach monitoring, maintaining the students airway, and performing suction as needed. You will be the primary healthcare provider within the school setting for this student, working independently without supervision from other nursing professionals.

Qualifications:

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required Prior experience working with trach care or medically complex students is highly desired Ability to assess, monitor, and respond to health needs independently Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:
