Category Schools•RN Nurse Job Type Contract Now looking to hire two Certified School Nurses (CSNs) or CSN students for current, full-time openings for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions will support students across district health services while managing school health offices, completing medical reviews, and participating in IEP and 504 processes. Responsibilities:
Manage the school health office and provide comprehensive nursing services to students. Complete student medical reviews and maintain accurate health documentation. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 meetings and processes. Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student health needs. Provide health education, assessment, and care coordination as needed. Work as a flexible, dependable team member to support the needs of the school community.
Experience:
Previous Certified School Nurse experience is highly preferred. Experience working in a school setting is a plus. Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are strongly preferred. Candidates should be collaborative, flexible, dependable, and have a strong teamwork mindset.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certified School Nurse endorsement required. Candidates must have more than an active RN license; completion of CSN coursework and endorsement requirements is necessary. CSN students currently completing required coursework may be considered.

Pay:
