Shift:

6:45 PM - 7:15

AM Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 12 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience. Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted. Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted. Required Credentials:

RNs only: Clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Special Requests:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

The assignment involves direct patient care on a Med-Surg/Telemetry-Oncology unit. Adult and geriatric patient population. The unit cares for acutely ill Med/Surg patients, including patients transitioning from the ICU. The unit cares for cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring and IV medications, including antiarrhythmic medications and heparin. The unit cares for patients requiring BiPAP.

Shift & Scheduling:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required. No call.

RTO:

7 days within 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements:

May be required to float to Med/Surg and between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East/Shiloh, and may be asked to float within the facility.
