Key Qualifications:

Active RN license required Previous experience in school nursing highly desired Strong clinical assessment and triage skills, especially with pediatric populations Ability to remain calm and focused when managing urgent health situations Clear communication and solid documentation abilities Confidence in creating and following action plans for a variety of health incidents within a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide daily health care and triage for students and staff at a busy elementary school Respond promptly and effectively to health emergencies or multiple concurrent incidents Administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, and maintain accurate health records Collaborate with school staff and parents to coordinate care and manage health plans Support health education and promote wellness initiatives among students Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week onsite.
