Key requirements and preferred skills:

Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois (No LPNs). Demonstrated previous experience working in a school nurse role is required. Proven ability to manage student health concerns including diabetes, g-tube feeds, and seizure protocols. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Deliver daily nursing care to elementary students, ensuring their safety and well-being during the school day. Administer medications, manage health plans, and provide emergency care as needed.
