1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring
BSN, IL RN
licensure, and telemetry experience. Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting Telemetry work setting Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend work required No on-call requirements 30-minute meal break Required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas Requirements Active Illinois RN license in hand required; emergency or pending licenses not accepted BSN required BLS certification through AHA required ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred Minimum 1 year of direct experience required 2 years of charge nurse experience required Skills checklist and 2 references required, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year All employment history with Northwestern Medicine or acquired facilities must be disclosed if applicable Additional Information May be required to float between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit manager All requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be added after submission Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate First-time travelers may be considered
