We are seeking full-time nursing support (40 hours per week) for a pediatric patient on Mondays through Friday during daytime hours . This specific position provides a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one and provide in-home care for a medically complex pediatric patient in a family home setting. The patient requires total assistance with skilled nursing care and ADLs. #TS2VAL Skilled care includes: G/J-tube feedings and management Medication administration Seizure monitoring and protocol implementation Assistance with transfers, bathing, and daily care Bowel and bladder care Wheelchair and mobility support Accompanying the patient to medical and therapy appointments Prior to working with a patient, we will provide you the opportunity to have a meet and greet with the patient and their family. Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate to the case management nurse. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care Plans of Care for their patient. Adjust and administer patient medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in emergency situations.
