Join our close-knit dermatology team at IU Health's Frankfort Medical Office Building, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural community while enjoying the support of a highly collaborative care environment. As a Registered Nurse in our fast-paced ambulatory dermatology clinic, you will provide professional nursing care through patient triage, rooming, education, care coordination, and support of dermatologic procedures and treatment plans. Working alongside one physician, two medical assistants, and one RN, you will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care while building lasting relationships with patients. Located near the hospital with access to extensive resources, this Monday through Friday position offers a consistent 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule with no travel required. The ideal candidate has at least one year of RN experience, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care. Qualifications:
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Exceptions:
Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse. We are an equal opportunity employer.
