CrisisCenterysb.org We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (Part-Time) to join our Residential Programs team. The RN will be responsible for managing and overseeing the medical needs of youth in our care, in accordance with state, licensing, and internal requirements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead medical care practices in accordance with Crisis Center and licensing requirements. Collaborate with staff, referral sources, and medical professionals. Complete nursing assessments for newly admitted youth. Monitor and document medications. Assess injuries and illness; provide initial treatment or refer as needed. Coordinate hospital transfers for emergency medical care. Complete post-restraint assessments and documentation. Schedule and oversee medical, dental, vision, and psychiatric appointments. Prepare medications for youth going on pass or discharge.

Supervision and Training:

The department is overseen by the Program Director and/or Residential Manager. During each shift, Registered Nurse reports directly to the Program Director.

Schedule & Availability:

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Our residential programs operate 24/7, and candidates must be available for early morning shifts Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with weekend rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

Licensed Registered Nurse in Indiana (Bachelor's Degree Required) Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the nursing field. Experience working with youth in a clinical, residential, or behavioral health setting.

Minimum age requirement:

21 years old Valid Driver's License and eligibility to operate agency vehicles. No moving violations within the past five years. CPR Trainer certification (preferred).
