Qualifications:

Active Indiana RN license required Strong communication and collaboration abilities Previous experience in a school or adolescent healthcare setting preferred Confidence in managing student health plans, administering medications, and responding to emergencies Ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing services for high school students, addressing both routine and acute health needs Maintain and update student health records per state and district requirements Administer medication and provide basic care for illnesses and injuries Respond quickly and calmly to medical emergencies Educate students and staff on health practices, chronic disease management, and wellness initiatives Participate in student care meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams when necessary Offer compassionate support while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
