Full Job Description Role:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac patient care in a telemetry unit.
Key Duties:
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Assess, document, and respond to patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
One year of recent telemetry nursing experience. Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively. Physical and sensory abilities to perform clinical duties and assist with procedures.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in reading and communicating in English, PC skills, and adaptability to dynamic clinical environments.
