Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments, including ICU, emergency room, medical-surgical units, and specialty areas such as pediatrics and geriatrics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate physiological responses to treatment. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices and regulatory standards. Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies. Assist in discharge planning and coordinate post-acute or outpatient care to support seamless patient transitions. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration; additional certifications in critical care or trauma nursing preferred. Extensive ICU, emergency room, or Level I/II trauma center experience demonstrating advanced patient assessment skills. Proven ability to manage complex cases involving infectious diseases, behavioral health issues, or post-operative recovery. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and hospital-based procedures. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated competency in managing patients' needs across inpatient, outpatient, home health, or hospice settings is highly desirable.
