Job Description
Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator RN to lead clinical education and training for our long-term care and rehabilitation team. In this resident-centered, faith-based environment, you will coordinate orientation, competencies, and ongoing in-service programs to support quality care, safety, and regulatory compliance. Partnering with nursing leadership, you will assess learning needs, mentor staff at all levels, and drive continuous improvement so residents receive compassionate, person-centered services every day. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical and regulatory training for nursing and facility staff. Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing competencies for licensed and unlicensed staff. Monitor clinical practices for compliance with policies, CMS, and state regulations. Support quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and skill gaps. Maintain training records, education calendars, and competency documentation. Coach and mentor staff in person-centered care and best practices. Assist with infection prevention, safety, and risk reduction education.
