Job Description
Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator RN to lead clinical education and training for our long-term care and post-acute team. This on-site role designs, delivers, and evaluates orientation, in-services, and competency programs that support safe, resident-centered care and regulatory compliance. The RN collaborates with leadership to assess learning needs, implement quality improvement initiatives, and serve as a clinical resource. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing clinical education and competency programs for nursing and care staff. Coordinate new hire orientation, skills validation, and annual in-service training requirements. Ensure staff education supports regulatory compliance, infection control, and safety standards. Collaborate with leadership to identify learning needs and develop targeted training plans. Monitor and document staff competencies, licensure, and mandatory education records. Support quality improvement initiatives through education, coaching, and performance feedback. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for best practices in resident-centered care. Align education programs with Signature Health CARE's mission, values, and policies.
