Job Description:
As an Infusion Nurse at Option Care Health, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering intermediate direct patient care to individuals in their homes or alternate infusion suites.
Your responsibilities include:
Innovative Patient Care:
Initiate, develop, and implement intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals, perform treatments, administer medications and ensure patient safety and continuity. Empower through
Education:
Educate patients and families, providing hands-on and verbal instruction for prescribed therapy. Assess patient needs through each visit, re-evaluate needs, responses to therapies and supplemental physician orders.
Effective Communication:
Collaborate with the clinical team, medical providers, and patients to facilitate seamless continuity of care. This will include coordinating discharge planning.
Qualifications:
Active RN License:
Unrestricted license in the state of practice.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
CPR Certification:
Current certification required.
Other Requirements:
Willing to travel up to 100% of the time for business purposes. Participates in nursing department on-call responsibilities.
