Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Step into a vital intensive care nursing role supporting patients with critical medical needs. This contract position is ideal for registered nurses experienced in ICU care, eager to provide expert support and monitor complex patients through their recovery journey.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN license in good standing Proven experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficient in monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response protocols Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Schedule:
Flexible contract schedule (details provided during interview process)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled care to acutely ill patients, monitoring vital signs and assessing changes Administer IV therapies, medications, and treatments according to physician orders Quickly recognize and respond to signs of patient instability or emergencies Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to develop and carry out treatment plans Provide compassionate education and support to patients and their families about health status, procedures, and recovery Keep thorough, updated documentation in patient medical records Adhere carefully to infection control, hospital protocols, and patient safety standards
