POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary:

Provides skilled nursing care through assessment, care planning, delegation, and oversight of resident needs in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Coordinates care with residents, families, providers, and the care team to promote continuity, safety, and satisfaction while identifying and addressing changes in condition or concerns. Supports nursing staff through wound care education and coaching and maintains accurate documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with established policies and procedures.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Associate Degree, or Diploma Degree, in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Current Kansas registered nurse license Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
