Job Description

Step into a rewarding role serving students as a school-based Registered Nurse on a contract basis. You'll play a vital part in promoting wellness, managing daily health needs, and supporting a safe, positive learning environment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license Previous experience working with pediatric populations or in a school setting Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills Ability to respond to emergencies and develop individualized health care plans Current CPR and First Aid certifications Adaptability and a collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students, including routine and emergency assessments Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families regarding student health needs Maintain accurate health records and documentation Support chronic disease management and health education initiatives Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed, contributing medical insight Promote positive public health practices within the school community Perks of this
