Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Familiarity with perioperative procedures and safety protocols Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on perioperative nursing care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments prior to procedures Assist surgeons and OR staff during surgery, ensuring aseptic technique Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols Foster effective communication between multidisciplinary teams
