1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg unit requiring 1 year of hospital med-surg experience and KS or compact RN licensure. Details Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 06:45-19:15 Floating within scope to the ED may be required Required to work 2 weekends per month On-call requirement of 1 shift per month Required to work holidays in rotation Requirements Active KS RN license or Compact required Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Minimum 1 year of hospital med-surg experience required Experience with IV drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem preferred New graduates will not be considered Additional Information Monday virtual orientation held weekly Credentials due 1 week prior to start date Nicotine-free facility Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
