Days or Nights, based on facility needs Position Overview We are seeking experienced Psychiatric RNs to provide nursing care in a behavioral health unit within a correctional healthcare setting . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care and patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Monitor and document patient conditions and behaviors. Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies. Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations and treatment. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records. Provide patient education and health counseling. Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and facility personnel. Follow all applicable healthcare, safety, pharmacy, and correctional policies. Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN license in the state of employment. Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric Nursing experience - REQUIRED. Valid driver's license. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills. Candidates must have at least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience to be considered.
