What We're Looking For:

Active RN or LPN license (Kansas state) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous experience in school nursing or a pediatric healthcare setting is a plus Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Willingness to work onsite and adapt to school-based schedules and needs

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, emergency response, and daily health monitoring Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students with diverse medical needs, including 1:1 care as required Provide education and advice to students and families regarding health, wellness, and disease prevention Triage, assess, and address student illnesses or injuries promptly Support special education programs with tailored nursing services Compensation for this contract position is commensurate with years of experience as a registered nurse.
