Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient assessment skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional nursing care across various settings. Duties Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation and patient data management. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care with precision and attention to infection control standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care environments like ICU, trauma centers, or emergency rooms to deliver critical care and trauma medicine. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and basic medical imaging procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable. Educate patients and their families on health coaching, discharge planning, medication administration, and chronic disease management including geriatrics and memory care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate medical records management. Experience Proven experience in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia care. Knowledge of infection control practices, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures. Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers or neonatal/pediatric intensive care units (PICU). Background in acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health, or home & community care is highly desirable. Familiarity with advanced nursing skills such as ventilator management, sterile processing, ostomy care, or gastrostomy tube management is advantageous.
