PRN positions opened for all shifts! We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurses to join our Medical/Surgical team. This role provides flexible scheduling while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in patient care. Our nurses are a vital part of our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our community. Position Summary The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Monitor patient condition and report changes to the physician and care team Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies Provide patient and family education regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Respond effectively in emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions Qualifications Current license in the State of Kansas (or compact license) BLS certification required Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment EOE
