Days, 3X12s, 36 hours per week, E/O weekend rotation as needed. Must be flexible to work on holidays! locals welcomed We need a nurse who can circulate CVOR cases as well as our other specialties, General, GYN, urology, neuro, ortho. They would not necessarily have to do all of those specialties, but we need someone who does not exclusively do hearts.

Current Kansas Registered Nurse License.

Duties:

Job Summary:

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation, and according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health centre mission.

Job Responsibility:

• Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information and reports findings to physician.
• Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently and with technical skill.
• Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behaviour at the earliest possible stage.
• Identifies patient learning needs and provides education.
• Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation.
• Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows nurse practice act.

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hospital experience within the past five (5) years.

Education:

Required Education:

• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse License.
