Your compassion and clinical skills will help ensure students receive vital care and support throughout their school day.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Kansas (LPN also considered for specified roles) Current BLS certification Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric, or community healthcare preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Confidence working both independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care, medication administration, and health assessments to students Develop and implement care plans for students with acute or chronic medical needs Document and monitor health-related incidents, maintaining accurate records Support health education and promote positive health practices within the school community Collaborate with educators, parents, and outside healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Serve as a resource for staff regarding student wellness and safety This contract position offers diverse experiences in school health and the opportunity to impact individual students and the broader school community.
