Job Description

Professionals in this role will join a bustling 31-bed emergency department, caring for a wide range of ages and conditionsincluding trauma stabilization, cardiac events, critical care, and behavioral health. This assignment is perfect for nurses who want to deepen their emergency medicine skills, adapt to new leadership approaches, and broaden their professional resume.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts: 7:00am 7:00pm Mid shifts: 11:00am 11:00pm Night shifts: 7:00pm 7:00am
Weekends:
Every 3rd weekend No on-call; rotating holiday coverage
Qualifications:
Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum two years of ER experience (any trauma level) Proficient in IV starts, foley and NG tube insertion, neuro assessments, triage, codes, and titration of cardiac drips and sedation Experience supporting critical, behavioral, cardiac, and trauma patients across all ages Strong teamwork, adaptability, and proven leadership in high-acuity care Cerner EMR experience preferred Must not be a first-time traveler
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population Perform triage, rapid assessments, and stabilization for critical and trauma patients Initiate and manage cardiac drips, sedation, and advanced interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including 24/7 in-house support and physicians
