Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor patient status and vital signs, ensuring patient safety throughout each procedure Administer prescribed medications and assist physicians during interventions Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and patient records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver personalized patient care plans Oversee equipment setup, operation, and post-procedure clean-up, following established protocols Advocate for best practices by adhering to infection prevention and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum 1 year recent cath lab experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Competence with invasive cardiovascular procedures and cardiac monitoring systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress scenarios
Preferred Experience:
