Description Assignment The Internal Float Pool RN will support Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, and other clinical or specialty areas based on organizational staffing needs. RNs will be assigned only to areas for which they are appropriately qualified, oriented, and able to demonstrate the required competencies. Glasgow, Kentucky, is the primary work location. Based on staffing needs, RNs may occasionally be assigned to T.J. Health Columbia for an individual shift or a defined period of time. Position Highlights 12-month assignment

$60.00 per hour

Night shift

Anticipated schedule of approximately 36 hours per week

Every-other-weekend scheduling expectation unless otherwise approved

Overtime eligibility in accordance with applicable requirements

Limited benefits and retirement-plan eligibility, subject to applicable plan requirements

Internal options for obtaining required certifications Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Nursing

Current Kentucky RN license or multistate RN license with privilege to practice in Kentucky

Minimum two years of RN bedside experience

Experience and demonstrated competency in one or more of the clinical areas supported by the Internal Float Pool

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS certification preferred

Ability to successfully complete department-specific orientation and competency requirements

Ability to obtain department-specific certifications within the required timeframe

Demonstrated clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in changing clinical environments Candidates who do not currently hold an applicable certification, such as ACLS, will be offered internal options for obtaining the required certification. Basic Life Support Additional Requirements Department-specific certifications may be required based on the clinical areas to which the RN is assigned. Qualifications
