Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent PACU experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong assessment, triage, and patient monitoring skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure in urgent and emergent situations

Responsibilities:

Monitor post-operative patients for vital signs, consciousness, and pain management Provide attentive recovery care, including airway management and medication administration Communicate patient status and needs clearly to the healthcare team and families Document interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records Quickly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition Adhere to facility safety and infection control protocols Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and their loved ones as needed Working within the PACU, you'll play an integral part in ensuring each patient receives attentive recovery care.
