Travel PCU RN

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel PCU RN (Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

• Must have PCU and Tele Experience
• Travel experience is not required
• ACLS, NIH and BLS required
• 36 hours/wk, Nights Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels, including those requiring cardiac monitoring, post-operative recovery, or complex medical management.

Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic results, and perform ongoing assessments to identify changes in patient conditions promptly. Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, suturing, and medication administration per physician orders. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Manage acute pain and assist with procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, or ventilator management as required. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance strategies. #
