13-Week Contract Schedule Information Night shift 7:00 PM-7:00 AM 12-hour shifts 13-week assignment Labor & Delivery RN Requirements Minimum of two years of recent Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN nursing experience Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills Experience monitoring fetal heart rates, contractions, and labor progression Experience administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies Ability to recognize and respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition Strong clinical-documentation and patient-education skills Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities Compassionate and family-centered approach to care Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN patients during the night shift. Perform maternal and fetal assessments. Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, labor progression, and maternal vital signs. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies. Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and related procedures. Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care as assigned. Prepare patients and equipment for deliveries and procedures. Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care. Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation. Coordinate care with physicians, newborn-care staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Follow all medication-safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
