A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Job Description

The APRN Promotes and maintains health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician and within the scope of their respective licensure Board.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing as APRN - in good standing CPR certification required
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited
APRN Program Minimum Work Experience:
Prior experience in clinical office preferred.
