Qualifications & Experience:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience as an RN in a Cath Lab setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stent placements Monitor and document patient condition throughout procedures and recovery Administer medications and IV drips as directed by the care team Prepare and maintain sterile field and supplies, ensuring all equipment functions properly Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-procedure care and expectations Respond promptly to emergencies and participate actively in code situations Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other nursing staff to uphold the highest standards of patient care This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while expanding your clinical expertise in a supportive environment.
