Schedule/Hours:

Day shifts: 0700-1900 Mid shifts: 1100-2300 Night shifts: 1900-0700 Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend Holiday rotation assigned based on department needs No on-call requirements Scheduling in 6-week cycles, with efforts to accommodate special requests and a month's advance notice

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience (trauma level experience accepted)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

certifications required EMR experience with Cerner preferred IV starts, foley and NG tube insertions, neuro assessments, triage, and experience managing critical infusions Strong adaptability, effective communication, and demonstrated leadership in high-pressure environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Triage and provide expert nursing care for patients of all ages in a busy 31-bed ER (average census 78/day) Stabilize a range of urgent presentations, including trauma, cardiac events, sepsis, DKA, behavioral health crises, and more Collaborate with a comprehensive 24/7 support team (charge nurse, ER physicians and midlevels, RT, hospitalist, intensivist, imaging) Perform moderate sedation and support bedside procedures
