Provide specialized critical care to ICU patients, including those on ventilators, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and with complex conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory failure, and MI. Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor patient responses, and evaluate effectiveness. Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Address emotional, psychological, and social needs of diverse patient populations. Educate patients and families to promote understanding and cooperation in care plans. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, licensing requirements, and safety standards.What You Need:
Current BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA. RN license in Louisiana or a recognized compact license. Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience preferred (new graduates considered). Ability to work a 12-hour night shift in a fast-paced ICU setting. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills. About theAssignment:
