$50.25 per hour Benefits include: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You'll Do Provide patient care in a 24-bed Medical-Surgical and Post-Care unit, including stroke, cardiology, and general medical patients Monitor and manage patients with diverse conditions such as AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, ARF, and post-heart caths Administer titratable IV medications such as Cardene, Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Neo, and Levophed (with manager approval) Perform chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and lumbar drains (preferred skills) Support patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and documentation in EMR (Meditech Expanse) Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, ST, and support staff Ensure compliance by passing EKG competency exams prior to start What You Need Valid RN license in Louisiana or appropriate state Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experienceBLS, ACLS, NIH
