Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Admit Nurse to join our team! This full-time position plays an essential role in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures, ensuring safe and efficient pre-operative processes. The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to float to Pre-Op, PACU, and Circulating roles as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
 Conduct comprehensive pre-admission assessments, including patient history and medication review.  Provide patient education and instructions prior to surgery.  Assist in Pre-Op, PACU, and Circulating areas as needed.  Start and manage IVs with proficiency — strong IV skills are a must.  Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
Schedule:
 Full-Time  No call, no weekends, no holidays!
Qualifications:
 Current RN license (state-specific).  Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)  Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or same-day surgery preferred.  Excellent IV insertion and management skills required.  Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
