Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide catheter care and assist with other medical procedures as directed by nursing staff. Support patients in mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems like PointClickCare. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to medical care and senior care. Skills The successful Nursing Assistant will possess the following skills: Familiarity with PointClickCare or similar electronic health record systems. Knowledge of senior care practices and nursing home protocols. Proficiency in catheter care techniques. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
