Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, controlling bleeding, and providing other assistance as needed. Monitor patient status and provide updates to the surgical team. Administer and monitor patient medications and treatments pre and post-surgery. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize workflows and patient care. Participate in post-operative debriefings and quality improvement initiatives.
