Job Description

Villa Feliciana Medical Complex (VFMC), nestled in the heart of East Feliciana Parish in Jackson, Louisiana, invites dedicated healthcare professionals to join our team. We provide compassionate, high-quality services to individuals living with chronic diseases, disabilities, terminal illnesses, and infectious conditions such as HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. Our goal is to create a homelike, safe environment where every patient receives personalized care designed to improve their quality of life. We're currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Department on the Wound Care Unit, responsible for delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs. Job Duties:
Provide direct care to patients whose condition requires skilled procedures and techniques on the hospital unit. Perform professional nurse duties to include administration of blood and blood components, IV meds, parental nutrition, central line therapy, etc. Performs general nursing duties, including the administration of medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Conduct chart reviews, update monthly present orders, and MARs as assigned. Completes Quality Assurance reports as required. Performs all other related duties as required in order to maintain the smooth operation of the Nursing Service Department and Villa Feliciana Medical Complex.

8-hour shifts Monday-Friday. Benefits of working as a Registered Nurse at VFMC include flexible work hours, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Career Progression:
This position may be filled as an RN 1, 2, or 3 depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Compensation:
The Registered Nurse 1, 2, or 3 offers a Special Entrance Rate of $29.84 hourly, along with Longevity Pay, Work Incentive Pay, and Certification Pay (ACLS, ANA, etc.). The salary can be higher depending on experience. Longevity Pay, Work Incentive Pay, and Certification Pay (ACLS, ANA, etc.). All candidates for hire must undergo drug screening and a background check.
