3001580358-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Travel ICU RN in Jefferson, Louisiana to deliver exceptional critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As part of a supportive, clinician-centered culture, you will manage high-acuity adult patients, including ventilator management, titrating drips, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. The ICU RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensure accurate EMR documentation, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards. Responsibilities Provide direct critical care to high-acuity ICU patients, including continuous assessment and intervention Administer IV medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilators and other advanced life-support equipment Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, labs, and EKGs to guide clinical decisions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives within the ICUAdapt quickly to new ICU environments, workflows, and staffing models as a travel RN Required Skills Critical care nursing Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring IV medication administration Central line management EKG interpretation Infection control Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Patient and family education Interdisciplinary collaboration
