Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Flexible schedule with every other weekend required

Pay:

$41/hour+ depending on experience Travel pay package available

Requirements:

Current State of Louisiana RN License required One or more years of recent Labor & Delivery and/or Newborn Nursery experience preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required BCLS certification required Fetal monitoring competency required Basic computer knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery setting Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans Monitor fetal status and communicate changes in patient condition to physicians Interpret and report diagnostic study results Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response Perform nursing duties throughout perinatal departments with appropriate supervision Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Nurses make a difference in the lives of their patients.
