IMC currently has openings in our Emergency Department for Registered Nurses (RN) , on a PRN basis. The Emergency Department RN is under the general supervision of the Unit Director and with the authority of the Chief Nursing Officer, will apply nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation) in caring for patients. Effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other heath team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.
EDUCATION
Graduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Previous experience preferred, but not required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Basic knowledge of nursing process and principles Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry. Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
