This opportunity is ideal for a skilled RN with experience in CVICU settings who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thriving in high-acuity situations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent CVICU experience (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) Proficiency in advanced cardiac monitoring and responding to critical changes in patient condition Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and cardiac rhythms Manage and administer medications, infusions, and advanced therapies Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care needs Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records according to facility protocols
