Job Title:

Registered Nurse (RN)

PICU Job Location:

Shreveport, LA (71101)

Duration:

3 Months Contract ( Possible Extension )

Shift Schedule:

Nights/Days Shift

•(12 Hours x 3 Days a week) Candidate must live outside 65 miles from the location 71101 (Zipcode) Provide safe, competent, and quality patient care using the nursing process. Effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members. Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing care and teaching strategies. Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Manage nursing team resources appropriately and serve as a leader within the interdisciplinary team. Evaluate patient information and outcomes to promote positive changes in patient care.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Registered Nurse diploma required 2+ years of nursing experience required BLS certification

•American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification required PALS certification

•American Heart Association (AHA) Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Clinical specialty certification preferred Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills

•12 Hours available. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. #
