Traveler Requirements:

BLS; ACLS; telemetry experience; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring; continuous IV sedation; procedural sedation administration

Responsibilities:

Provide critical care nursing for medical and occasional surgical patients in a 14-bed ICU setting. Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, COPD, COVID, alcohol withdrawal, GI bleed, and drug overdose. Administer and interpret dysrhythmias, manage pulmonary artery lines, and provide continuous IV sedation. Collaborate with intensivists, NPs, and rapid response team to ensure patient safety and effective care. Maintain comprehensive documentation and follow ICU protocols during night shifts.
